The Victoria Fish & Game Protective Association says its llama is on the lam.
Otis 鈥� aka Waldo 鈥� has become the range mascot for the group, whose headquarters are on Holker Place in the Malahat area, near Spectacle Lake Provincial Park.
There has been no sign of Otis since May 13.
鈥淲hile him wandering away for a bit is not unusual, he hasn鈥檛 been returning for his food, which is unusual,鈥� says a notice on the group鈥檚 Facebook page. 鈥淚f you see Otis anywhere (including on neighboring properties or in the general area) please let us know ASAP. We want to make sure he鈥檚 healthy and happy.鈥�
Anyone who spots Otis is asked to call the caretaker line at 250-858-8342 or send a message to the Facebook page.
