I spent many years creating and co-producing festivals in Victoria that were focused on celebrating the Arts & Culture of a thriving community.

Why are you running? What’s your motivation?

I ran in the 2018 municipal election for colwood council and while I did not win, I am determined to earn the votes and win a seat this election. I am committed to creating a safe space for constructive problem solving and respectful dialouge.

What are your top three issues?

Responsible management of tax dollars and city spending

Foster growth and supports for small business in new creative ways

Community safety - identify and respond to areas of concern

I am commited to building a better live, work, play community for all. A place where housing options and jobs will be plentiful and the community will provide for a safe and healthy envoriment for all ages and life stages.

What’s one “big idea” you have for your community?

I would like to work with the city to develop a job fair program for residents seeking work and businesses seeking staff. This could be held at City Hall or in parks throughout the community during the warmer months. I do believe that if the right opportunity presents itself and given the right environment, people may be willing to make a shift to work closer to home.
