Kudos to Capital Regional District directors for taking their stance. A detour road through the watershed area would add unnecessary risks to water that 380,000-plus depend on. Transportation should not take priority over something we can鈥檛 live without.
Let鈥檚 start with actually enforcing the rules of the road on that stretch of highway, shall we?
