May 29: Story ignored contrary views

It was sad to read the Times 91ԭ’s entirely one-sided take on the support and opposition for the phase-out of horse-drawn carriages on Victoria’s streets.

Far more occurred than a procarriage rally with free pizza.

Inside city hall, 50 speakers expressed their concerns to council. Thirty were in support of a ban, while 20 called for a continuation of horse-drawn carriages.

As a subscriber and tireless supporter of the Times 91ԭ and its place in the community, I would appreciate an apology for this blatant disregard for professional journalism, appropriate editorial direction and publishing integrity.
