I reject claims by people such as Norman Spector that Elizabeth May, leader of the Green Party, had no choice but to ride in a Dodge Viper V-10 in the Victoria Day Parade. It is what her ilk claims is a climate-
damaging automobile and she supposedly did not know about the plans in advance.
She could have put principle ahead of politicking and refused.
Then, she could have taken a bus back to her own riding, where surely there were festivities . . . and fired staff on Tuesday.
