I鈥檓 an animal lover, and in no way do I and many others want to see the working horses in downtown Victoria hurt.
But what is Victoria council missing? Restrict the vehicles on the routes of this business. It鈥檚 a no-brainer.
Have a route where these carriages can show our proud city in safety. It can be restricted to the high tourist months, and allow only emergency, taxi and buses access.
When we visit our guests in downtown Victoria, we stay well away from the centre.
What鈥檚 hard about this, Victoria council?
