Re: 鈥淏.C. Ferries disruptions continue this week,鈥� April 30.
B.C. Ferries services are equal to or better than most airlines. Yes, many valid complaints were heard when the ferries were forced to cancel sailings because one of the ships was damaged in poor weather conditions.
However, we rarely hear the many well-deserved compliments to the corporation for operating a safe, clean and generally on-time ferry service.
Last Saturday, damage to one of the ships during high winds resulted in cancellation of several sailings on Monday. I was one of those cancellations. B.C. Ferries deserves full credit for the handling of my reservation. The reservation was moved to a later sailing on Monday and I was notified not only by email, but also by telephone.
Thank you, B.C. Ferries. Keep up the good work.
