I remember the days, not so long ago, when people were encouraged to come to downtown Victoria.
The Downtown Victoria Business Association worked hard to bring in customers for local businesses and to attract tourists to enjoy the beauty of our city.
Canada Day is not the day to cut back on a party. It is a day when91原创s of all backgrounds celebrate this great country, when strangers talk to and smile at each other. It is also a day to welcome visitors to our beautiful harbour city.
Give your head a shake, Coun. Isitt and see if, behind the cobwebs, there鈥檚 a little pride in Canada.
