The letter-writer was right about dead dinosaurs powering us for years. Premier John Horgan, federal Green Party Leader Elizabeth May and others have their heads in the sand with respect to increasing air travel and increasing numbers of cruise ships.
Think about professional sports teams that are crisscrossing not only Canada and the U.S. daily but also worldwide, to say nothing about tourism. The latter is actively promoted by the B.C. government.
By not producing our own fossil fuels, Canada will be dependent on increasing numbers of tankers from elsewhere.
