Good luck to any landlord in B.C. trying to boot out tenants in a “drug house.” Our tenancy laws make it extremely difficult to evict tenants. If rent is being paid on time and no “serious” damage is being done to the property, tenants can stay unless and until the landlord sells the property, moves into it or does major renovations. All of those options cost the landlord money and/or loss of revenue.
