A man described as a 聯prolific聰 thief was arrested by Saanich police early Friday morning after allegedly breaking into vehicles that had been left unlocked.
Police were contacted about 2 a.m. by a resident of Kimberly Place, near Quadra Street and the Pat Bay Highway. Officers responded and found a man hiding in some bushes.
Also located were change and a number of electronic items, including portable GPS devices.
Police stressed the need for people to lock their cars and keep valuables out of plain sight.
