An autopsy will be needed to confirm a cause of death in the latest homicide in Richmond, but investigators have little doubt they are dealing with a case of foul play.
Integrated Homicide Investigation Team Sgt. Jennifer Pound said it appears a 38-year-old man was killed by some sort of knife or edged weapon.
He was found critically injured in a Richmond apartment at 12: 35 a.m. Tuesday and died at the scene.
A 35-year-old woman, believed to be the victim's wife, is in custody.
Pound says the slaying appears to be related to a domestic dispute.
She said investigators are trying to determine the motive for the stabbing or what led up to the fight.
