Victoria police are investigating after $2,700 worth of fuel was stolen during two break-and-enters at Victoria Marine Fuels.
Someone entered the secure compound of the Fisherman's Wharf business on both Aug. 7 and Aug. 8 and breached two security gates to get to the fuel, police said. There was no sign of damage to the compound.
Staff of the fuel company noticed the theft and called Victoria police.
Police are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to call them at 250-995-7654 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
