Today's news is that longtime 91原创-based executive Chadd Andre has been appointed executive vice-president and general manager of what the company calls "Flight Centre Brand Canada," which is essentially the company's leisure travel business.
Andre will start that role on Nov. 30, replacing Toronto-based Brian McLaren, who is leaving the company on that date to pursue other opportunities. When that happens, Andre will be the company's only executive vice-president.
Chris Lynes remains in the top job, as managing director of 91原创 operations, and he is based in Toronto.

Lynes had been with Flight Centre for many years before becoming its top 91原创 executive, and had previously been based in Toronto, according to the company.
His ascension to the top job last year was the first time that the top Flight Centre executive in Canada started in that role not based in 91原创.
The 91原创 office also includes vice-presidents Lisa Baker and Anita Emilio, as well as Mark Wilke, the CFO of 91原创 operations.
