CGI wins army training deal

CGI Group's American subsidiary has been awarded a $143-million US analytical and technical services contract by the U.S. Army to help prepare soldiers at its schools and training centres across the country.

CGI Group's American subsidiary has been awarded a $143-million US analytical and technical services contract by the U.S. Army to help prepare soldiers at its schools and training centres across the country. The Montreal-based IT company said CGI Federal will support the Army's Training and Doctrine Command and help the Army train soldiers for complex operating environments. The one-year contract has options that can be extended up to three years.
