A woman was airlifted to hospital in Kamloops after a car crashed into a semi Tuesday morning about three kilometres east of Rogers Pass on Highway 1.
She was in a westbound Honda Civic that collided with a tractor-trailer unit at about 7:35 a.m., Revelstoke RCMP said.
A man in the car was taken to hospital in Revelstoke by ambulance.
The driver of the truck was taken to hospital in Golden for observation.
The highway was closed, but was expected to open between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Avalanche control was also taking place in the area.
