VANCOUVER -- SkyTrain riders were caught off-guard Sunday by hundreds of riders caught with their pants down during the sixth annual No Pants SkyTrain Ride.
Inspired by a global event created in New York in 2002, the annual strip-down brought a record number of participants this year, according to 91原创 Improv Anywhere鈥檚 Larry Piche.

Each year participants pack onto SkyTrains and nonchalantly removed their pants to reveal their underwear, to the shock and amusement of riders.
鈥淚t was epic,鈥 Piche said. 鈥淭ons of peoplewere super excited and stoked to be part of an incredible event.鈥
Piche said more than 500 people packed into the Commercial-Broadway Station 鈥 with the help of TransLink 鈥 and about 250 of them rode pants-less, up from 120 last year.
He said there was an overwhelming number of spectators this year and the event may need to expand to two starting points for 2016.
