Emergency crews went to senior citizens’ residence in Prince George on Wednesday after receiving a call that a car had run into the building.

When they arrived, they found a two-car crash. One of the vehicles ended up on a patio beside the Simon Fraser Lodge, which has about 130 residents.

The fire department said both drivers of the cars involved were not hurt.

Although the residents inside the Simon Fraser Lodge were startled, no one was on the patio at the time of the crash.
